OUR WEEKEND...

started with playing in the fountains with cousins...

YES, there are TWO kids missing here...the oldest two!  They did not want to come and actually had a choice this time cause daddy got home from work early!!

so after playing in the fountains everyone got the wet clothes off...mine should have been better dressed had i known my sister had hers so cute!

saturday we didnt do much...my sister and i hung out at the pool, we only had two kiddos (her gurl and my menace), then my sister and her fam (minus her oldest cause he thinks he has to spend 24/7 w/my oldest) went to dinner and my fam did NOTHING!  well, we watched a movie at home and ordered pizza...daddy also did the backyard!

we all got to bed earlier than usual on saturday night cause we had to get up sunday for church and a busy day!  we didnt make the early service has we had wanted but made the last one!!  then home for a quick lunch then off to lifetime fitness (our new fave place) for a workout and the boys swam.  then we had to leave there to rush to ms's indoor soccer game, which is 30 or 40 mins away, and find out once we get there the game had been rescheduled but NO ONE had been told!  so we headed for an early dinner then home!  

we had a GREAT weekend!  hope you did too!!

MC'S FIRST MOVIE

my sister and i took the kiddos to the movies today to see TOY STORY 3...in my head i was ignoring the fact that mc had never been to a movie nor did i really think at age 1 1/2 he was ready for one.  but what i was thinking was that after we ate lunch and about the time the movie started it would be his nap time and he would fall asleep...i actually knew the only way him and i would be able to make it through the whole movie without having to get up and leave would be if he fell asleep! 

before we took all the kids in to sit down we ALL made a trip to the restroom to MAKE everyone potty whether they needed to or not!

mc did fall asleep, just as i predicted, in my sister's arms.  he slept for atleast half the movie, maybe more.  but then he started coughing because he got too hot, i think, and woke up!  here he is after he woke up and i sat him back in his seat.

and him staying seated in his seat didnt last long...

he would get up then sit down then get up then sit down...i didnt mind this so much, atleast he wasnt screaming like he normally does!  but then he started standing in his chair looking and talking to the people behind us.  he did this two times and i sat him back down two times.  we would NOT have lasted the whole movie had he not slept over half the movie!  he only lasted as he did BEFORE he fell asleep because he had candy and coke but that would have eventually ran out!

probably wont be taking mc to another movie anytime soon!

lunch for 8 (2 adults 6 kids) = $50

movie tickets for 8 (2 adults 6 kids, mc didnt have to pay plus i had 2 free tics) = $35

candy & drinks = $35

spending the afternoon with my sister & our kids = PRICELESS

FATHER'S DAY

more water fun and family visits

one of my cousins is on vacation and my mom is house sitting and dog sitting...this is Lola's cage, HE WOULD NOT STAY OUT OF IT!

an aunt, cousin and a couple of 2nd cousins came in town to go shopping, we all went to dinner...ITS NEVER A DULL MOMENT WHEN HALF OF THE PEOPLE EATING OUT ARE KIDS!

after we ate there was a little concert going on outside the rest. with face painters and other fun stuff...below is what the kids chose to do:

you dont see my sister's other twin cause he was being HIM!  he was the first to get his face painted cause thats just him but should have been the last to go...he got the batman mask and it looked super cute but after he saw one of the other boys with something different he wanted that and threw a fit.  his mask ran down his face cause of his tears!

my cousin and her son came back to our house afterwards so that he could play with the boys for a while.  my cousins daughter went home with my sister and the twinks for the night!

IT WAS A GOOD NIGHT!

daddy grilled the boys hot dogs and i made them some french fries for dinner tonight...

then i made them some chocolate chip cookies for desert which they enjoyed on the back patio...

and here is a pic of MO taking one of his meds from getting his tonsils out.  the last two days he has felt the best but from what i hear he will feel bad again before its all over...I HATE THIS FOR HIM BUT KNOW WE WILL ALL BE HAPPY IN THE LONG RUN!
